Blaircare Community Pharmacy

Blaircare Community Pharmacy opened in the Premier Health Centre in February 2022 and is located just past the reception. The pharmacy is conveniently located for patients to fill their prescriptions after completing their consultations.
Blaircare Community Pharmacy is contracted to all the major medical aids. From March, Blaircare Community Pharmacy has been welcomed into the Discovery MedXpress Network as a dedicated service provider. This service allows patients to fill and collect their chronic medications from the pharmacy without a 20% co-payment.

All Doctors making use of electronic scripting, for acute & chronic medications, may email their patient’s scripts to scripts@bccp.co.za for processing and easy collection.

Yolandi Pieters manages the pharmacy and is the Responsible Pharmacist. Yolandi is assisted by Refiloe Phaleng, Blaircare's Pharmacist’s Assistant. Previously, Yolandi worked with the Dis-Chem group and recently decided to move to Blaircare Community Pharmacy. In her new role, she hopes to provide more personalised, patient-focused care on a community level.

I am Sister Shaye Rae, a dedicated nursing professional with over 20 years of experience in the field. My unwavering commitment to patient care, especially in child health and family medicine, has been the cornerstone of my career.

I completed my nursing education at Grey’s Hospital Pietermaritzburg, where I honed my skills and developed a deep understanding of healthcare practices. Throughout my career, I’ve worked in various clinical settings, including hospitals, community health centers, and private practices. My passion lies in providing holistic care to families and children. I am an advocate for preventive healthcare and firmly believe that early intervention and education plays a crucial role in maintaining overall well-being.

My mission as a nursing sister is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to every patient who walks through our clinic doors. I believe that a healthy family contributes to a healthier community, and I am committed to making a positive impact.
